Our Story
Gold Carrot began with a promise. A promise to carry on a family legacy. This secret recipe was entrusted to me by my late mother, Diane. On January 10, 2024, she lost her battle with peritoneal cancer. Before she passed, she left me with these words.
"This is a million-dollar carrot cake Tanya. It will take care of your family someday. Remember what I'm saying. Never sell that recipe for less than a million dollars!"
And she is always right! I promised her that I would share her carrot cake with as many people as I possibly could! And when I make a promise, I keep it. It was time to give her vision new life!.
We started small, making cakes for friends and family. Then a few businesses put their trust in us and began carrying our cakes in their stores. Over time, I had adjusted the recipe to make it my own. I added a few personal touches to impress my husband. A little spice here, an extra teaspoon of this there. He believed in my dream. He came up with the name and designed the logo. Gold Carrot was officially a brand!
